Description
Hi, the caterpillar of a white marked tussock moth.I, think this one was about 7 centimeter in length and pretty much at the end of its caterpillar "life".
Was a quite challenging research. First of all it seemed to be a caterpillar not existing in northern germany. I was only finding images/informations on international websites reporting this kind lives in eastern areas of the united states......I thought kind of sensational
O.k. they are common in middle europe, too. In germany they are called schlehenspinner.
Thanks for looking at.
Stefan

Maybe a lower angle?!
Looks possibly oversharpened (my monitor?)

Worth healing the over-exposed parts at the top.
