Hi artists, this is number 4 of the grasshopper series. Actually it was the first shot of this series, but following the little story it is the final image.

composition could be better thought
it's usually better to have the subject going / looking to empty space

A nice capture. Image needs more contrast to help separate the subject. I like the image better rotated horizontally. It also has potential flipped vertically. More sharpness on the bug and the edge of stone will help us focus on the bug more.

Too bad you crop the antena, nice compo but maybe a front shot would´ve been better also looks abit out of focus.....!!!

Great details on this one! I've been experimenting with some close up filters and i know how hard it is to get this shots. However, I would like to see the entire grasshopper, so the crop antenna spoils the composition a little, I'm also not a big fan of the blue frame!

This looks very good! Very good shot of the grasshopper, I have the same opinion as Andy--Jones, and here the background doesn't distract.

I hope i can see more of this grasshoper serie
